The Nebraska Danger started their season hot with four wins and zero losses. The season began at Green Bay where the Danger pulled out an impressive 57-32 win. The next game was the first at home for the 5th Anniversary Season and the Danger didn’t disappoint. The tightly contested match-up against the Wichita Falls Nighthawks concluded with a 45-30 win for the Danger. The third game was also versus the Nighthawks, but on their turf. Nebraska was down 6-20 at the half, but used a strong second half to win the game 36-26. The fourth Danger game was also at home and resulted in a high-scoring win, 76-50 versus the Iowa Barnstormers. The first home game also marked the unveiling of the Nebraska Danger Hall of Fame, featuring inaugural inductee Brad Fossberg. Brad was the “Voice of the Danger,” calling all home games on 103.1 2Day FM and was also involved with the team by compiling stats throughout the first four seasons. Brad passed away in Spetember, 2014 after a battle with cancer. The Danger “saved a seat for Brad” by placing a Fossberg Danger jersey on the back of a chair at the 2Day FM radio table. The Danger Hall of Fame can be seen at any home game in the southeast corner of the concourse.
